What does this news mean for Matchbox Virtual Media?

Establishing this joint venture with the Endocrine Society will increase the speed with which Matchbox can enhance and extend our experience design platform. Our goal is to automate many of the most time-consuming processes and offer an expanding library of templates and guides to leverage online experiences. Utilizing the shared knowledge and expertise that has been distilled into experience templates will enable our clients to increase engagement, deepen learning, and generate more non-dues revenue for their organizations.

The joint venture will also help us grow our client community of experience design enthusiasts and create a shared space for exchanging ideas, collaboration, and co-creation of new and inspiring online experiences for engagement, collaborative problem-solving, volunteer training, new member onboarding, and more! We are excited to be the home of a knowledge community for experience design, sharing our best-practice guides and leveraging the experience of other community members to save your meeting planners, education department, and marketing teams dozens of hours when creating and delivering new online experiences and digital products.

Our first joint activity with Endocrine Society will be to launch a research study exploring and benchmarking the use of virtual events and online experiences by medical, healthcare and scientific organizations. We want to understand what is working and what is not, which online experiences are creating value or generating revenue, and the areas in which medical, healthcare and scientific organizations see potential for online experiences to increase meaningful engagement with their members and community. The first phase of the research study is open to membership organizations from all industries and will be launched at the ASAE Annual Meeting and Exposition, August 5-8, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia, where Matchbox will be exhibiting at booth 551.

Co-creating the future of online experiences

Though this partnership is focusing on helping medical, healthcare and scientific organizations develop state-of-the-art virtual meetings and education experiences, Matchbox continues to partner with associations and membership organizations across all industries. The investment by the Endocrine Society increases our capacity to work with all organizations interested in sparking authentic engagement through intentional experience design – creating conversations that matter and connections that last.

We look forward to sharing our learnings and innovations from this new venture with our entire client community and the broader association community, just as we have with previous initiatives. A rising tide lifts all boats – we all benefit when we collaborate to make online experiences more engaging, inclusive, and inspiring for our members, clients, and partners!
